Returning to the Faerie Realm

It has been at least twelve years since I’ve blogged on this particular domain— it had been a way for me as a bored ten-year-old to document my love of faeries as my family traveled through Europe to find a manager for my then-opera singer father. I can’t quite remember why I deleted the blog (something to do with trying to fit in as a teenager) but now I’m a bored twenty three-year old trying to navigate the combined stressors of quarantine, ecological dread, retail work, and the US government not caring about performers.  Jokes aside, for quite a few months now I’ve been wanting to get back into blogging about faeries. Do I believe in faeries?  I will not answer that, because I’ve learned long ago the social consequences of responding to that question in the affirmative. However, I believe that it is vital in these times to allow yourself to immerse in fantasy and imagination.
